Time Idle RPG seemed like a neat idle game with a lot of ideas based around literally using time to do actions such as gathering resources, crafting and fighting enemies. Sadly with too many numbers and too many mechanics surfaced immediately so I was quickly overwhelmed and stopped.
This review is part of a “drought of iOS games I actually care about and I really should subscribe to Apple Arcade I guess” series of reviews.
As I understand it, each second you get a “time” resource and can allocate it to various actions, such as gathering knowledge, hunting, training, crafting, etc. Everything nets you resources that you also must use for other actions. It is not really clear what the path to progress in the game is and there are too many stats, upgrades, systems and resources dumped on you all at once. It just got overwhelming and seemingly aimless very fast, so I stopped! Ah well!
